Product & Growth

I build products,
then grow them with data.

Final year Industrial Engineering student at Istanbul Technical University. Founder of Waia, an AI wealth assistant live on the App Store with users in 20+ countries. Right now I also work part time at Turkcell GAME+ on the business side of cloud gaming.

About me

Everything I have done so far has the same shape. I start something from zero, then I grow it with numbers instead of guesses.

That started with student organizations. In my first year I ran operations for Istanbul Technical University's Entrepreneurship Club and helped organize its biggest event, Girişim Zirvesi. In my second year I joined the founding team of İTÜ ODER, the first registered student association in Türkiye, where I built the promotion and operations department from scratch and ran it for six months.

Then I moved to products. I worked as a growth analyst intern at Yanhak inside İTÜ Teknokent, reporting directly to the CEO. After that I spent eight months with a US based early stage startup, running paid acquisition and funnels end to end. And in 2025 I built and shipped my own app, Waia, alone.

What I want next is a product and growth role where I own a metric, not a dashboard. I like being the person who sits between the engineers, the data and the user, and I can prototype the thing myself when that is faster than explaining it.

Outside of work I swim and cycle with the goal of finishing a triathlon, I write about finance, and I manage my own portfolio. I have travelled through more than six countries by interrail after a student exchange in Belgium.

Waia, AI Wealth Assistant

2025 to now · Live on the App Store

Founder and solo builder. Product, engineering and growth.

Waia is a personal finance app that tracks your net worth, cash flow, investments and financial goals, gives AI powered insights on top of them, and adds a social layer so people can follow what others are investing in. The short pitch I use is "Letterboxd for stocks".

I built it because every finance app I tried was either a spreadsheet with a nicer font or a trading terminal. Nothing answered the simple question a normal person actually asks, which is "am I doing fine or not". So I designed the whole thing around one number, your net worth over time, and then made the AI explain it.

I did every part of it myself. User research, user stories, specs, design, the app, the backend, the App Store release, and then the growth. The app is React Native with Expo in strict TypeScript, the backend is Supabase with more than 25 database tables, row level security, 11 edge functions and webhook integrations. The AI coach runs on Google Gemini and takes voice messages, so you can manage your portfolio in plain language.

On the product side there are five tabs, Market, Social, Coach, Cashflow and Wealth, plus a 12 screen onboarding flow that I rewrote several times because the first version leaked users at step four. Real time market data, watchlists, automated bank sync through Plaid, exchange and crypto wallet connections all sit under it.

The growth side is the part I care about most. I instrumented end to end product analytics with PostHog and tracked activation, retention and the paywall conversion funnel, so feature decisions came from where users actually dropped, not from opinion. I ran paid acquisition on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads and Apple Search Ads while watching CAC and trial to paid conversion. I did ASO and a full competitor teardown of Monarch Money, Copilot and YNAB, and I pulled App Store Connect metrics programmatically so I could see the numbers daily.

Monetization is a subscription through Adapty, a hard paywall with a seven day trial at $5.99 monthly or $29.99 yearly, with in app purchase and error monitoring on Sentry.

The real lesson was that with no team I had to be the product manager, the engineer and the user at the same time, and switching between those three heads is the actual skill. It is also the best growth case study I own, because every mistake in the funnel was mine to find and fix.

Turkcell GAME+

Growth & Business Development. Selected for Turkcell's Young Talent program.

SS 2: cloud gaming / NVIDIA görseli

GAME+ is Turkcell's cloud gaming platform, powered by NVIDIA GeForce NOW. You stream PC games to a phone, a TV or a low end laptop instead of buying hardware for them.

I joined the business side of it through Turkcell's Young Talent program while still studying. I work on gaming business management, digital strategy and business development for the product.

Cloud gaming is interesting to me for the same reason growth is. It is a young category with no settled playbook, the unit economics are unusual because you are selling access to hardware over time, and almost every decision has to be argued from data because nobody has ten years of precedent to point at.

It is also my first time seeing my own habits from Waia applied at a completely different scale. On my own app I could look at every single user. Here the questions are about cohorts, partnerships and distribution, and I am learning how the same thinking survives that jump.

Aiscale

Sep 2025 to May 2026 · Freelance, remote, US based

Growth Analyst. Owned acquisition end to end.

SS 1: funnel / kampanya görseli
(img/aiscale-1.png)
SS 2: n8n workflow veya dashboard
(img/aiscale-2.png)

Aiscale is an early stage startup in the United States building AI products. I worked remotely with the founder for eight months and ran the growth and marketing side from start to finish.

We built full funnels for several projects. I stood up landing pages with tools like GoHighLevel, ran paid acquisition on Meta and for Shopify e commerce clients, produced the ad creatives, and optimized against CAC and ROAS rather than clicks.

One habit from that period stayed with me. Before writing any creative I would go through competitors' live ads in the Meta Ad Library, find the angles they kept spending on, and adapt the winning arguments to our own campaigns. It is the cheapest research in marketing and almost nobody does it properly.

On the operations side I analyzed client processes to find what could be automated, designed n8n workflows and mapped the API integrations they needed, and managed the CRM. I also wrote user stories and product specs and ran requirement gathering calls directly with clients.

Yanhak

Apr 2025 to Aug 2025 · İTÜ Teknokent

Growth & Business Analyst Intern. Reported directly to the CEO.

SS: analiz / yatırımcı materyali görseli (opsiyonel)
(img/yanhak-1.png)

Yanhak is a startup inside İTÜ Teknokent. I worked directly with the CEO on the business model, the metrics that mattered and the product decisions that came out of them.

I built financial and operational analyses to guide strategy and prioritization, and dug through product and process data to surface growth and efficiency opportunities.

I also prepared the investor materials and ran the DocSend data room for the fundraising round, which is where I learned how differently the same number reads depending on who is looking at it. That summer is where turning user data into a growth decision stopped being a phrase and became a job.

Let's chat

I am looking for product and growth roles, in Istanbul or remote. If you are building something and you need someone who can read the funnel and also ship the fix, say hello. I answer every message.
